Behavior Consultant Assistant

Career Connections Recruiting is seeking a Behavior Consultant Assistant to join a leading Autism service provider in Hershey, PA. As a Behavior Consultant Assistant, you will support Behavior Consultants in providing services to individuals with autism and related disabilities. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assist Behavior Consultants in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior treatment plans
• Implement behavior support plans under the guidance and supervision of Behavior Consultants
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
• Assist with the training and support of caregivers and other team members in implementing behavior strategies
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech pathologists and occupational therapists, to provide coordinated care
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and boundaries

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree
• Experience or coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred
• Experience working with individuals with autism or related disabilities is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
