The SMT Machine Operator collaborates directly with Team Coordinator and department supervisor to ensure printed circuit boards are assembled to specification in a timely manner. This position is key to company quality standards.

Requirements
What you’ll do:
Perform machine set-up, clean-up, and surface mount machine operation according to standard operating proceduresMaintain quality documentation for set-up, machine operation, inspection results, and daily operationsPerform material activities required to maintain accurate control of all material staged in machine areaPerform minor maintenance as required to operate machines in an efficient mannerSupport continuous improvement by looking for opportunities for improvement and working projectsMaintain a clean and highly organized area and perform other duties as assigned.What you’ll need:
High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, analysis, and oral and written communication skills Demonstrated highly motivated strong leadership and teambuilding skills with self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit and a “hands on” mentality. Effectively manipulate extremely small and/or fragile components and tools. Ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products. Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and/or equipment operation Education and/or Experience High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Ability to obtain J-STD and IPC certification within 90 days. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS SMT Machine Operations 1+ year experience J-STD and IPC CertificationBenefits
