Looking for Full Time Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a full-time position at an Assisted Living Facility in Astoria, OR. Work alongside a dedicated team of professionals to help patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities, enabling them to regain independence and improve their daily living skills.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9AM-5 PM

Patient Volume: 7 patients a day or 35 patient visits a week

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth assessments of residents’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial capabilities, as well as their functional limitations, utilizing standardized evaluation tools.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, resident objectives, and physician guidance.
• Provide specialized occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, cognitive enhancement techniques, and environmental modifications.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Keep current with emerging occupational therapy practices and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 a year.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Oregon State.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Knowledge of current occupational therapy practice standards and regulations.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
