Nurse Practitioner - Perioperative Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Perioperative Medicine team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. This individual will collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct patient assessments and evaluations prior to surgery to ensure readiness for the procedure.

2. Develop individualized care plans for patients undergoing surgical procedures.

3. Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care throughout the perioperative period.

4. Monitor and manage post-operative recovery and provide follow-up care as necessary.

5. Educate patients and their families about the surgical process and post-operative care instructions.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

2. Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.

3. Proven experience in perioperative medicine and surgical patient care.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
