Corporate Nanny/Child Caregiver | BeLoved Hospice
Job Summary
BeLoved Hospice is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Corporate Nanny/Child Caregiver to provide high-quality childcare services for healthcare and corporate employees' children in a flexible setting. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports children's development while allowing employees peace of mind during work hours.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide childcare services for corporate executives and healthcare professionals’ families.
- Ensure children's safety at all times by maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
- Supervise and care for children ranging in age from infants to pre-teens within a designated area, approved spaces and/or in-home setting (as required).
- The role may include assisting with transportation, after-school activities, school or daycare pick-ups, feeding, diaper changes, potty training, nap schedules, light housekeeping, sanitizing and minor errand running.
- The Nanny will provide communication updates and child wellbeing assessments with the child’s guardian.
- Maintain records of child’s activities such as eating habit, sleeping habits, activities, or any concerns, etc.
- Must follow company policies and state childcare regulations.
- Coordinate with parents, guardians, or other caretakers to assist with any cares the child or children may need.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.
- High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience (nanny, daycare, or preschool setting). Executive Assisting or Corporate childcare experience is a plus
- CPR and First Aid Certification required or able to obtain within three weeks of hire. Child Development Associate (CDA) certification preferred
- Must be able to pass a background screening pursuant to ORS 181A.195 and provide professional references, required
- Must have reliable transportation, required
- Must have a clean DMV driving record, required
- Valid Auto Insurance
