Head of Mergers and Acquisitions (Portland based)

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Mergers and Acquisitions based in Portland, Oregon. As a Head of M&A, you will play a critical role in driving the firm's growth strategy through identifying and executing strategic mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, negotiation, and execution.
• Evaluate and assess investment opportunities, including analyzing financial statements, conducting valuation analysis, and performing strategic fit assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acquired entities and drive post-merger integration initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investment banks, legal advisors, and potential target companies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to identify potential M&A opportunities.
• Provide strategic recommendations and guidance to senior leadership on potential acquisitions and partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

• Proven experience in leading mergers and acquisitions, with a strong track record of successfully completing complex transactions.
• Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
