Requirements
As our chosen Floating Leasing Consultant, everyday you will assist in all aspects of leasing including, but not limited to; touring, accepting and processing applications, phones, call backs and thank you cards. Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, communities and associated agencies. Accept and complete Notice to Vacate forms. Prepare correspondence such as rent charges, eviction notices, collections, etc. Complete tenant move-ins and move-outs in compliance with all company procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Manager. The Floating Leasing Consultant position will work from any 1 of 8 properties in the Portland metro area with the majority of properties in the Gresham area.
To thrive in this role:
Have at least one year of prior experience working in property leasing REQUIRED
Be proficient in computer use and Microsoft Suite (Excel/Word/Outlook)
Ability to build rapport with clients, learn quickly and pay attention to detail
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior customer service skills
Have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other regulations governing multi-family housing operations
Bilingual (Spanish)
Bonus Skills
knowledge of Yardi, RealPage, Lead2Lease, Onsite, OPS- PLUS
Previous tax-credit experience- PLUS
