The Family YMCA of Marion and Polk Counties is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator/Specialist to join our team. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting our health, wellness, and fitness initiatives by ensuring the accurate and timely entry of data into our systems. You will work closely with various departments to manage data related to member registrations, program participation, and other critical operational metrics. Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update member information in the database.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical records as per established protocols.
  • Verify accuracy of data entered and make corrections as needed.
  • Generate reports to track and analyze participation in programs and services.
  • Assist in developing new data entry procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to gather necessary data inputs.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding data and assist staff with data-related issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a data entry operator or in a similar role.
  • Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
