Full Job Description

As a CNC Operator at OptiTrack, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC mill/lathe machines. You will work with setup instructions to ensure the machines are properly configured and will measure critical dimensions using common measuring tools to ensure parts are machined according to specifications. Additionally, you will read G&M codes on the machine controller, keep the work environment clean and organized, and follow safety guidelines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a great attitude, be able to work well with others, and be reliable and punctual. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds. You should also possess good English reading, writing, and comprehension skills, especially when it comes to understanding schematics and machine shop terms. Experience with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators is preferred, as well as the ability to follow instructions and open and review Mastercam programs. Familiarity with MillTurn experience with Mazak Integrex and Renishaw probing is a plus.
