CNC Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-          Operate 3,4 and 5 axis CNC mill/lathe machines using setup instructions

-          Checking parts are machined to drawing by measuring critical dimensions using common measuring tools

-          Ability to read G&M codes on the machine controller

-          Keep work environment clean and organized

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

-          Great Attitude

-          Able to work well with others

-          Reliable and on time

-          Great attention to detail

-          Ability to stand or sit for up to 8hrs

-          Can lift 50 pounds

-          Ability to read, write and comprehend English, schematics and machine shop terms

-          Experience with measuring tools such as micrometer, caliper, indicator etc.

-          Follows instructions well, ability to follow instructions

Desired skills and experience:

-          Ability to open and review Mastercam programs

-          Follow instructions to run measuring program on Vision/CMM machine

-          MillTurn experience with Mazak Integrex

-          Renishaw probing in machine
