Elite Sourcing LLC is partnering with a highly reputable law firm that specializes in construction defect litigation. Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Attorney to join their team. As an Attorney specializing in construction defects, you will have the opportunity to represent clients in a wide range of legal matters related to construction defects, including defect claims, contract disputes, and insurance coverage issues. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney looking to specialize in construction defect law and make a significant impact in this field.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, representing clients in court, and providing legal advice and guidance to clients. You will work closely with senior attorneys and have the opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes cases.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on construction defect matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings related to construction defects.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on construction defect issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop case strategies.
- Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions.
- Stay updated on changes in construction defect laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the Bar and in good standing in Oregon.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction defect litigation.
- Strong knowledge of construction defect laws, regulations, and legal principles.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Strong oral advocacy skills and ability to effectively represent clients in court.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with case management software is preferred.
