Tax Accountant - CPA Candidate

Hire Resolve is a leading recruitment agency specializing in finance and accounting roles. Our client, a reputable CPA firm, is seeking a dedicated Tax Accountant who is a CPA candidate. As a Tax Accountant, you will work closely with clients and team members to handle tax preparations and compliance tasks while gaining valuable experience towards becoming a Certified Public Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Research and analyze tax laws and regulations
• Assist with tax planning and strategies
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide tax advice and guidance
• Ensure compliance with tax filing deadlines and requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete tax documentation
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Currently pursuing CPA certification or already a CPA candidate
• 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a CPA firm
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits

• Salary: $75K/yr - $95K/yr, negotiable. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
