Shipping Clerk Lead

TAT Limco in Tulsa, OK is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join the team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all products shipped to customers. This position will record every detail of the order, from packing items into containers to labeling them. This position is also accountable for ensuring that each package gets shipped correctly and timely to avoid missing deliveries or lost goods.

Essential Job Functions:

• Arranges shipping with various carriers paying close attention to cost
• Maintains high degree of attention to detail
• Receives deliveries and performs three-way match
• Maintains all necessary documentation
• Distributes packages within the company as required
• Tracks and maintains files of all goods shipped by preparing shipping reports for managers, including proof of deliveries
• Operates and maintains foam packaging system
• At times must investigate discrepancies and miscounts within the shipping dock area
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
• Fulfillment of all physical and written tasks related to Parts Receiving
• Management of Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) in Quantum and others as upgraded
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED. Recommended one or more years of experience with inventory
• Experience with and knowledge of 6S and its purpose
• Highly organized and ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Patience and tolerance for interruptions and reprioritization
• Ability to comprehend and comply with FAA requirements and procedures around receiving
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as copier, printer, fax machine, calculator, phone and computer
• Experience with MS Office Applications with a focus in Excel (or other computer software that may be necessary)
• Experience with packaging, shrink wrapping, shipping computers (e.g., FedEx and UPS), hoist, pallet jack and hand truck
• Maintain Forklift License
• Shift requires 40+ hours per week and some weekend work at times
