About the role:
- A day in the life of a retirement plan support specialist includes supporting our clients and their employees with 401(k) knowledge, working closely with the retirement plan manager and benefits team, and administering Nextep’s 401(k) plan.
- This role requires an eye for detail because you’ll be monitoring eligibility, enrollment, and participation changes, as well as handling mergers/transfers of prior retirement plan assets and reconciliation and reporting.
- Manage the new adopter installation process with Nextep’s 401(k) partner to ensure timely and compliant plan installation.
- Develop and distribute communication materials, including newsletters and guides, to promote retirement plan awareness and engagement among employees.
Requirements
About you:
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You have at least one to two years of benefits, 401(k), or customer service experience.
- You have some ERISA experience in the retirement industry.
