Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians in conducting thorough physical examinations and medical procedures, utilizing your expertise in animal care and medical knowledge.
- Collaborate with receptionists to ensure clear client communication and provide education on pet health, treatment plans and preventive care recommendations.
- Recognize subtle signs of stress, anxiety and aggression in patients and utilize behavioral modification techniques to manage and reduce stress.
- Execute treatments as prescribed by veterinarians, proficiently collect and process various samples (blood, urine, feces and ensure accurate analysis and documentation.
- Uphold strict standards of cleanliness and safety within the hospital, contributing to a healthy environment that supports patient care and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50#, maintain flexibility to bend and kneel throughout the day and stand for extended periods during patient care and procedure assistance.
- Professional Attributes: Demonstrates accountability, punctuality and maintains a positive, can-do attitude essential to supporting your teammates in delivering high-quality care.
