Seasoned Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray procedures. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients using X-Ray equipment while adhering to radiation safety protocols. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality images are produced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-Ray examinations on patients, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and cooperation.
- Position patients correctly and adjust X-Ray equipment to obtain optimal images.
- Operate X-Ray equipment and adjust technical factors to produce high-quality images.
- Review images and check for image quality and proper identification of patients.
- Assist in the administration of contrast agents and other medications as required for X-Ray examinations.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide support as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of patient documentation and procedural information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss patient history, examination plans, and interpretation of images.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines.
- Maintain and troubleshoot X-Ray equipment and report any malfunctions or need for repairs.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Experience working as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray procedures.
- Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to operate and maintain X-Ray equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Current CPR certification.
