Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking an experienced Pre Construction Manager to join our team of over 1,000 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry.
The Pre Construction Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the pre-construction process, including estimating, design coordination, and client communication. This role requires a strong understanding of fire protection systems and experience in project management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales team to review project proposals, specifications, and drawings.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for fire protection projects, considering labor, materials, and equipment required.
- Coordinate with design team and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient design of fire protection systems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance during the pre-construction process.
- Review and negotiate subcontractor quotes and contracts.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in fire protection or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and codes.
- Proficient in estimation software and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license.
