Industrial Painter (Aerospace)

Detailed oriented, dependable, self-motivated individual capable of reading and understand blueprints and manufacturing instructions for the application of all paint coatings. Coatings include but are not limited to marine grade Zinc, polyurethane and epoxy primer. Load raw material into paint pressure pot and apply coatings per manufacturing instructions and or customer specifications. Manage and maintain paint booth and associated tools.

Afternoon shift - 3 pm to 11:30 pm Monday through Friday

Requirements

Industrial Painter Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Paint and apply finishing coats in accordance with blueprints, manufacturing.
• Instructions and/or customer specifications.
• Set-up and maintain work areas and operate painting equipment in accordance.
• to safety procedures.
• Record and report working hours and material usage.
• Maintain clean work areas, tool repair, and equipment inventory.
• Inspect paint jobs and materials, adjusting colors and fixing defects.
• Read and understand manufacturing processes as it applies to painting.
• Read, verify and understand bill of material (BOM).
• Follow production schedule.
• Load raw material into paint pressure pots.
• Ability to read, understand and comprehend the thickness of paint in mil. gauges.
• Safely operate crane, pallet jack and forklift.

Industrial Painter Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Complete a satisfactory nationwide criminal background check.
