Human Resources Coordinator

Nextep’s HR coordinator is the gear that keeps our Client HR team going. You will work closely with our client-facing HR team, making this the perfect position for someone who loves communicating and working with people. About the role:

• A typical day for an HR coordinator could include providing guidance and resources to our clients, developing client handbooks, answering unemployment claims,  and assisting our HR business partners with projects. 
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures for clients.
• Offer guidance on utilizing HR tools and resources effectively.
• Ensure the smooth operation of HR processes.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS for multiple clients.
• You’ll also work with our accounting team to audit HR-related billing activity for accuracy, bill clients for appropriate services, and submit invoices. 
• Provide administrative support to the HR team and clients as needed.

Requirements

About you:

• You have a knack for customer service, and have some past experience to show it.  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• If you have some HR support experience, we’ll be especially interested.

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates who have, or are currently pursuing, a degree in Human Resources.
