General Manager

Optimum RV is a leading RV dealership, offering a diverse selection of recreational vehicles backed by exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a motivated, customer-oriented General Manager to join our dynamic team.

Our ideal candidate will have a background in managing high-volume auto dealerships and will have completed formal auto dealer finance/sales training.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor the sales team to drive performance.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development for sales staff.
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to address staffing needs.
• Oversee deals and assist in closing sales when necessary.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited automotive finance/sales training program.
• At least 2 years of management experience in a high-volume sales environment.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Familiarity with Motility software is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local retail laws.

• Proven track record in sales, particularly in the automotive or RV industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Skilled at building rapport with customers and identifying their needs.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and earn commissions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
