FP&A Analyst

TAT Limco is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their team! TAT Limco is a fast-growing aerospace thermal management OEM and repair service provider. With a global presence and a reputation for customer intimacy and differentiated service offerings, TAT Limco serves leading players in the aerospace industry, including airlines, OEMs, MROs, air forces, and defense organizations.

As the Financial Analyst, you will be a key partner to our finance organization leading the efforts of analyses of contribution margin, operations costs and profits, working closely with the company’s general manager and the group finance team. We are looking for a person who can analyze and present complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making. You will work closely with operational and finance teams on-site, monitor implementation, and evaluate performance on an ongoing basis.

• Utilize data analytical skills to query and analyze large amounts of complex data to identify areas of opportunity to improve company profit.
• Planning annual budget/plan and monthly/quarterly forecasts.
• Assist with the onsite business unit profitability analysis, reporting function and recommend areas of improvement for each line of business and product line.
• Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
• Partner with the Accounting Team to understand actual results to plan and supply actionable root cause variance analysis.
• Develop business specific KPI’s, metrics, and dashboards to clearly explain business results including monthly sales and profit.
• Partner with various departments at all levels of the organization to provide insightful data driven recommendations on a wide variety of initiatives such as business development, and company profitability improvements.
• Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
• Build the business unit budget and analyze monthly deviations in budget and provide correctives actions to the management.
• Assist with special projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or economics
• 3+ years of financial background
• 3 – 5 years’ proven FP&A skills
• Experience in Manufacturing or Aviation industry preferred
• Must possess effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong excel skills
• Must be able to interface with all levels of management.
• Advanced degree (MBA) a plus
