Position Overview:
The Food Runner at our taco shop restaurant plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and smooth operations during service hours. Responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, the Food Runner must possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency to maintain the quality and timeliness of service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery of Food Orders: Efficiently transport food orders from the kitchen to the designated tables, ensuring accuracy in matching orders with corresponding customers.
2. Coordination with Kitchen Staff: Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food items according to customer requests.
3. Quality Control: Inspect food orders before delivery to ensure they meet quality standards and presentation guidelines set by the restaurant.
4. Customer Interaction: Interact courteously with customers during food delivery, assisting with any additional requests and inquiries to enhance their dining experience.
5. Table Maintenance: Assist in clearing and resetting tables after guests have finished their meals, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment for incoming guests.
6. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with servers, bartenders, and other restaurant staff to facilitate efficient service and uphold a positive team dynamic.
7. Adherence to Safety and Sanitation Standards: Maintain cleanliness and organization in food delivery areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic working environment.

5. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift bus tubs to and from the kitchen.
