TAT Limco in Tulsa, OK is looking Fin Machine Operators for our Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) operations.
Responsibilities:
Fin Machine Operator is responsible to run machinery to produce daily customer orders on designated product lines.
- Perform the operation of machines on designated product lines according to the production schedule
- Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift
- Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running
Perform basic troubleshooting of problems during machine operation - Ensure all safety devices and guards are fully operational and that safety procedures are being observed
- Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output
- Create and maintain activity/job logs as required
- Record all production performance, counts, downtime and other quality or production related information as required
- Meet specified production performance targets
- Participate in production process improvement efforts
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly
- Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
- Ability to read blueprints and manuals. Knowledge of GD&T preferred
- Basic mathematical skills
- Physical stamina and strength to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Critical “Cause and Effect” analytical abilities. (i.e., If I do this, that will happen)
- Working knowledge of shop safety protocols
- Experience with Robinson and/or Voss fin machines preferred
- Ability to pass pre-hire and ongoing, random drug testing as required as a Department of Transportation (DOT) facility regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
- Ability to pass pre-hire background check screening
