Full Job Description

1 Resource Group is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Mechanic to join our clients team. As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment and machinery in the Oklahoma City, OK area. This includes but is not limited to forklifts, generators, bulldozers, and frontend loaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with heavy equipment.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on various types of heavy machinery.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
  • Coordinate with equipment operators to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Travel to customer sites for equipment maintenance and repair as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Service Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of heavy equipment.
  • Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • DOT certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
