Full Job Description
CDR Maguire, Inc., a national engineering and emergency management firm, is hiring multiple Debris Data Support Specialists to provide crucial data support for a large-scale debris management mission. The Data Support Specialists will be responsible for accurately entering, tracking, and managing data related to debris removal operations, with a focus on maintaining data integrity in systems such as Excel, Access, and Salesforce. Candidates with a background in debris management and proficiency in data management tools are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry of debris management information into Excel, Access, and Salesforce systems.
- Track, update, and manage data related to debris removal progress, resource allocation, and other project metrics.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure data consistency and accuracy across all systems.
- Generate reports from Salesforce and Access databases, and present findings to project management as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and field staff to collect, verify, and reconcile data on debris volumes, equipment usage, and operational logs.
- Assist in creating and maintaining organized data files and documentation for compliance and project tracking.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any data discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support the data manager with ad hoc data requests, analysis, and other reporting tasks.
Schedule:
- Flexible, full-time 40-hour workweek with opportunities for overtime.
- Weekend work my be required to meet project needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in debris management or disaster response (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Salesforce; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple data streams.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and field staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing project needs, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to deal with high pressure.
