Starting pay of $15 - $20 per hour dependent upon shift and inclusive of base pay and any incentives. Please see wage details below.

Shift Details

The following shifts are available:

Day Shift: Monday- Friday, 5:45am - 2:15pm (base pay with a shift differential, $17 - 18 / hourly)

Evening Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 10:15pm (base pay with a shift differential, $18 - $19 / hourly)

Overnight Shift: Wednesday - Saturday, 9:45pm - 6:15am 32 Hours only (base pay with a shift differential, $16 - 17 / hourly)

Weekend Shift: Saturday - Sunday, 5:45am - 10:15pm (base pay with Baylor pay bonus ($18.75 - $20 / hourly)

Responsibilities

  • Administer and accurately record the administration of medications as prescribed by a resident's physician(s) in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal guidelines under the supervision of a nurse
  • Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs
  • Manage the supply of medications
  • Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered
  • Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
  • Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status
  • Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
  • Assist in dining including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean-up

Requirements

Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the State of Oklahoma (NOT MEDICAL ASSISTANT)

Experience:

  • Six months of work experience in a retirement community setting is preferred
  • Candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English
  • The ideal candidate will be caring, organized, and able to multi-task
