Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

• Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.

• Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
• Making collection calls and performing follow-up activities for customer payments and identifying slow-paying customers.
• Managing customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Safeguarding customer data and ensuring the accuracy of records.
• Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent      
• 3+ years’ experience in accounts receivable and collections
• Experience in driving process improvement and collection actions
• Develop and implement collection baselines and goals
• Develop collection strategies to prevent bad debt and improve recoveries
• Control and reconcile placements and recoveries
• Proven ability as an effective communicator across different personalities and multiple roles/functions both within and outside of the company
• Ability to be extremely proactive and effective despite potential roadblocks
• Ability to travel up to 20%
