Weekend Shift Production Supervisor - Tier I Supplier

Express Employment is excited to announce an opening for a Weekend Shift Production Supervisor at a Tier I Supplier. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of production during the weekend shift, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently while meeting production goals. This is a Friday to Sunday Day Shift and Monday Night Shift opening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production teams during the weekend shift, ensuring adherence to safety and production standards
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve weekly production targets
• Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills and efficiency
• Collaborate with management and other departments to resolve production-related challenges
• Document and report on production metrics and team performance during the weekend shift

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar capacity within manufacturing
• Ability to work effectively during the weekend shift
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production metrics
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
