Full Job Description

Resource Innovations is currently seeking a Utility Coordination Manager to join our growing team focused on supporting the delivery of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Programs across numerous states.  As a Utility Coordination Manager with Resource Innovations, you will be relied upon to positively impact the delivery of IRA programs through direct coordination with Utility Companies throughout the duration of the IRA programs.  You will be focused on building relationships and processes across the IRA programs with regional utilities from program planning through program closeout.  You will be key to establishing the framework and cadence across usage data, program coordination, and braiding and stacking of funding.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements a plan for engaging and coordinating with Utilities throughout the IRA program lifecycle.
  • Building best practices and SOP for the coordination across utilities
  • Coordinates with the senior leadership to establish work program plans and ensure adequate staffing for each phase of projects and programs.
  • Directs and coordinates project staff and subcontractors to ensure overall program success. Monitors workflow and performance of all program team members and provides guidance and feedback on assignments.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
  • Prepares timely and accurate project reports.
  • Leads the program team to develop and manage marketing and program implementation strategies to achieve project goals and encourage customers to implement resource efficiency projects.
  • In coordination with senior leadership, works with clients on contractual requirements and program integration with broader energy efficiency programs in the sector.
  • Oversees and participates in program implementation, including the development of reports and project deliverables.
  • Develops strategies to meet and exceed customer and project needs with efficient use of staff time, travel, and other resources.
  • Performs program-level quality assurance and prioritizes which deliverables require review and at what level.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Due to IRA (inflation Reduction Act) funding stipulations, US Citizenship is required.
  • A minimum of a bachelors degree, preferably in a technical field of study such as mechanical engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of previous energy efficiency program management experience.
  • Proven project management experience in developing and implementing project scopes, budgets and plans.
  • Must be located in the following: greater Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Arizona, or Indiana.

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Advanced energy related certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certification.
  • A master’s degree or MBA
  • Experience working for or with an Investor-Owned Utility Customer Program
