Role Overview:

The Supply Chain Planner I is responsible for the qualitative and quantitative planning of raw materials and finished goods.  This includes managing all SAP MRP parameters used to plan the procurement of materials. This position requires a very close relationship with Manufacturing Plants, the Demand Planner (who generates forecast information), Procurement, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing.

Requirements

•                    Function as a key driver of the planning process by managing many of the inputs into the planning system that are used to generate production and distribution plans.

•                    Strong project management skills, including the ability to establish a plan and drive its execution to successfully deliver results against business objectives.

•                    Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to the role.

•                    Ability to set priorities and make decisions in a dynamic work environment.

•                    Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks effectively.

•                    Action oriented, good problem solver, highly analytical and good math skills.

•                    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and/or work effectively in a team environment to achieve organizational goals.

•                    Ability to effectively explore alternatives to reach outcomes that gain all parties support and acceptance.

•                    Ability to assimilate and apply new job-related information that varies in complexity in a timely manner.

Position Requirements:

·         Minimum two plus years of SAP experience.

·         Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, Power Point is preferred.

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Math or Finance is preferred, with a minimum requirement of two (2) years of logistics or supply chain experience -OR- a High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
