Substance Use Disorder Counselor (LCDC II, LCDC III, LSW)

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate group therapy and manage individual cases for adults with substance use disorders.
• Craft and review comprehensive treatment plans promptly within set timelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective continuity of care.
• Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold professional boundaries and confidentiality consistently.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree, or equivalent .
• At least two years’ (preferredd) experience in substance use disorder treatment.
• Certification: Minimum of LCDCII, or in process of increasing certification 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ASAM criteria beneficial.

Skills:

• Expertise in group therapy, crisis intervention, and time management.
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
• Understanding of the 12-step Recovery Program and addiction treatment models.
