We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Receivable and Revenue Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of a growing SaaS business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and related reporting
  • Support invoicing and revenue in accordance with GAAP revenue recognition standards
  • Support our accounts payable and procurement processes
  • Maintain general ledger reconciliations based on documentation standards for all balance sheet accounts
  • Perform advanced general accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency of accounting processes and procedures to enhance the speed, quality, efficiency, and productivity of the team
  • Participate in financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and reporting as needed
  • Provide support for special projects as assigned by the VP, Finance.

Requirements

Preferred Experience & Qualities:
What are we looking for in this role?:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP standards, general accounting practices/procedures, and end-to-end business processes 
  • Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce, Quickbooks Online, and SaaSOptics/Maxio 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Final Interview: A 60-minute panel interview with the Finance team
