Production Supervisor

Express Employment is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Tier 1 manufacturing facility and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Set production goals and targets, and develop strategies to meet and exceed them
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
• Train and mentor production workers to develop their skills and enhance productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any production-related issues and implement improvements
• Report on production performance and provide regular updates to management

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
