Overview:
This opportunity is with a high-purity specialty and FDA/GMP chemical manufacturer located near the Cleveland, OH area. It's a leadership role at a small to medium-sized plant. Your focus will be on process optimization, production support, and supervision of up to 5 operators. You'll ensure adherence to safety protocols, lead daily production to meet targets, train and manage on-site technical personnel, coach the team on improvements, and plan future production expansions/improvements. You may need to work some nights and weekends. You will report to the Plant Manager who is overseeing multiple sites. This company has multiple sites throughout the United States and plans to continue growing its business. Relocation will be offered on a case-by-case basis (if needed).
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, ideally Chemical or Mechanical
- 5+ years of in-plant experience in chemical manufacturing or closely related industries
- Previous supervision experience with some direct reports is ideal (salaried and hourly)
