Production Operator

Our Production Operators are experts in the crystal growth process. They master the process of growing the largest and highest performing iodine-based crystals on the market. The crystals created by Luxium Solutions (formally known as "Saint-Gobain Crystals") are used by and sold to U.S. and international clients, and are world-renowned for their quality and performance.

Incentives: This position will receive a sign on bonus of $500 after 90 days, a yearly ANNUAL BONUS and quarterly bonus after fully trained. Our benefits start day one, through a known global health service leader.

Description:

The Production Operator prepares raw materials, loads crystal growth furnaces, and controls the growth process. In addition to material processing, the Production Operator measures and records data for process control and improvement. This role takes a high level of concentration and visual attention for sustained periods of time.

Daily duties:

Entering data on computer to set up run sheets.

Record and maintain all production and quality records.

Material handling equipment.

Trouble shooting

Heavy Lifting up to 60 pounds.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, familiarity with handling compressed gases and flammable liquids would be an advantage, but not required.
• High school and/or college chemistry would be an advantage, but not required.
