Production Control Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Audit and place blanks and raw materials into inventory.
• Perform cycle counts on raw material and component inventory.
• Audit orders waiting for material and release as blanks become available.
• Maintain material traceability records as required.
• Collect, replenish, and distribute Kanban totes from point of use locations.
• Work with Master Scheduler to determine production releases.
• Issue shop orders as needed to replenish Kanban totes and blanks as needed.
• Perform inventory transactions as required.
• Issue NMR for products that do not meet quality standards.
• Maintain the inventory area in a clean and organized manner.
• Adhere to Associates’ Handbook and safety policies. 
• Maintain the Deeds Drive Grinding Kanban.
• Use and care for micrometers and calipers properly.
• Provide leadership.

Requirements

Education

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.

Experience

• Demonstrated computer/data entry experience.
• Must have completed 90-day probationary period.

Skills

• Detail oriented, including good organizational and planning skills.
