Product Engineering Technician

Luxium Solutions is seeking a Product Engineering Technician to join our team in supporting the development and testing of our innovative products. The Product Engineering Technician will work closely with the Product Engineering team to assist in designing, building, and testing new products and prototypes. The role will involve hands-on work with electrical and mechanical components, as well as data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the design and development of new products, including creating prototypes and conducting feasibility studies.
• Build and assemble product prototypes and test fixtures.
• Perform product testing and data collection, and analyze the results to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain documentation and records of test results, procedures, and product specifications.
• Support product validation and verification activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a product development environment.
• Strong hands-on skills with the ability to assemble and build prototypes.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components and systems.
• Experience with data collection and analysis, including the use of software tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
