Process Engineer

Job Description:

This is a rare opportunity to help start up a major multimillion dollar expansion at a plant one hour south of Toledo that produces high-purity specialty chemicals used in the semiconductor industry. Your responsibilities will include initial shift work (commissioning/start up), writing operating procedures, conducting operator training and optimizing processes, both now and into the future. Once the plant is up and running, your on-going role will be as a process engineer. This site is staffed with Maintenance Techs, an Operations Manager, a Quality Engineer and other Process Engineers. This company has multiple US facilities.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering required
• 1-5 years’ of hands-on experience in a chemicals, foods, or polymers manufacturing plant (or closely related)
• Must have some kind of track record of technical ability and self-motivation
