Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and diagnose plumbing systems to identify issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Perform repairs, installations, and replacements of plumbing fixtures, pipes, and related components
- Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide excellent customer service
- Communicate job details, progress, and potential additional costs to customers in a clear and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, materials used, and labor costs
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with plumbing codes and regulations
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new plumbing techniques to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Service Technician or a similar role
- Valid plumbing license and certification
- Excellent knowledge of plumbing systems, components, and installation procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
- Flexibility to work on call, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
