Overhead Crane Operator - Toledo, Oh

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes for loading and unloading materials
• Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure crane safety and functionality
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols when operating equipment
• Interpret load charts and work orders to determine proper lifting procedures
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe movement and handling of materials
• Keep operational logs and reports regarding crane operation
• Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean and safe condition

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an overhead crane operator required
• Experience with Dual Hoist Remote Overhead Cranes
• Familiarity with crane operation safety regulations
• Ability to read and comprehend load charts and work orders
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Must be able to work varying shifts
• Capability to perform routine crane maintenance as needed
