Full Job Description

Maumee Supply is a rapidly growing company seeking a competitive Outside Sales Representative to utilize existing sales strategies to grow an existing book of business, and attract new customers. The successful salesperson will enrich existing customer relationships while also sourcing new sales opportunities, open accounts, and close sales. The ideal candidate will have commercial plumbing/construction knowledge, and assist customers with managing projects and increasing their customer's revenue. By assisting our customer to achieve success, we aim to achieve success and grow revenue. The Outside Sales Representative will research sales competition, understand market trends and current market pricing. Relevant industry experience is encouraged, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales by use of various sales methods
  • Call, setup appointments, and consistently fill the pipeline by increasing opportunities and closing sales
  • Evaluate customers' needs and build productive long lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate leads
  • Follow through sales with sales leads and quote material to required architect specifications
  • Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Assist the Inside Sales/Estimation Team with managing commercial plumbing and heating projects
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
  • Strengthen Maumee Supply's reputation in the industry

Requirements

  • Strong desire to win!
  • Exceptional follow-up and follow-through.
  • Experience following an established sales process.
  • [preferred] Knowledge of commercial plumbing, industrial PVF, or hydronic radiant heating
  • Proven sales experience with proven processes
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management

  • Computer use competency
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated and driven
