Operator II

Textum OPCO, LLC is hiring an Operator II for its Dayton, OH composite manufacturing operation.

At Textum, we specialize in developing innovative fabric and multi-dimensional preform solutions for our customers, serving industries such as aerospace, space, defense, energy, and infrastructure. As an Operator II, you will play a vital role in the production of composite parts and materials, ensuring that quality and productivity targets are met.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in composite manufacturing or a related field. They will be familiar with operating various machinery and equipment, as well as following standard operating procedures. Attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team are essential.

This is a full-time position with first shift hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating machinery and equipment to produce composite parts and materials
• Monitoring the production process to ensure quality and productivity targets are met
• Performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
• Inspecting finished products for quality and conformance to specifications
• Following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Recording and maintaining production data and reports
• Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in composite manufacturing or a related field
• Experience operating machinery and equipment
• Knowledge of standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
