Operation Technician

The Operations Technician builds high quality radiation detectors in a clean, temperature, and humidity-controlled environment. This is not your typical manufacturing location! In a typical day, the assembly technician will read work instructions and specifications to prepare crystals, housings, and seals to assemble detectors.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Problem solving abilities.
• Experience in manufacturing assembly preferred
• Familiarity with mechanical or electronic components
• Proficient computer skills
• Level of technical aptitude
• Ability to multitask and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Mathematical Skills: The applicant must possess the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. In addition, the applicant must possess the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and metric conversions.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job the individual may have to lift 40pounds unassisted.
• Depending on the task, the individual will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
