About the Role:

The Senior Metallurgist position is designed as an advanced step for professionals growing from a Product Metallurgist role or for those with substantial experience in metals processing, eager to apply their skills in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Guarantee that all products are manufactured following established metallurgical procedures, ensuring they meet stringent customer specifications and regulatory compliance.
• Customer Satisfaction: Oversee adherence to customer approvals and established practices, addressing any deviations or non-conformities in product standards.
• Product Integrity: Coordinate the re-testing, reworking, and approval processes for products that do not meet initial specifications.
• Operational Collaboration: Actively collaborate with the Operations and Planning teams to optimize material flow and efficiency within the department.
• Innovation and Improvement: Support the Chief Metallurgist in integrating new products or processes into the production lineup, including the drafting of comprehensive technical reports.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Educational Background: Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Metal Sciences, Material Sciences, or a closely related field.
• Specialized Experience: Prior exposure to titanium processing or aerospace materials is highly desirable, marking a candidate as distinctly well-suited for this role.
