Mechanical Maintenance Tech - Tier 1 Supplier

Express Employment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a Tier 1 supplier. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations in support of the production process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Replace worn-out or faulty components to restore functionality
• Lubricate and clean machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
• Experience working in a Tier 1 supplier or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Basic understanding of electrical systems
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team
