The Position
Alene Candles LLC is searching for a Maintenance Technician for our New Albany Ohio facility. This role is responsible for preventative, predictive, reactive maintenance as well as various design and project work to keep the facility in top operation.
The Location
We are located at 8860 Smith's Mill Road, Suite 100, New Albany, OH. This is an onsite position.

- Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting/repair/install.
- Perform equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic) troubleshooting/repair.
- Perform PLC programming/troubleshooting.
- Perform robot programming/troubleshooting.
- Fabrication, repair of tooling/fixtures.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures and adjust procedures as needed.
- Perform equipment design, procurement of parts, and installation of new equipment.
- Input and retrieve information from the CMMS system.
- Must be able to make quick decisions while under pressure.
Hourly rates range from $23.00 for entry-level positions to $40.00 for those with advanced skills and experience.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in mechanical or electrical related technology plus one year of experience or high school diploma or GED plus three years of experience
- Strong background in Allen Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Industrial, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
- Robotic programming & troubleshooting
- Preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Fabrication & machine shop skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Vision systems understanding / programming a plus
- Good record keeping and proficiency in MS Office
