We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Technician to be an active contributor in performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the building, machinery and equipment function as designed. The ideal candidate will have experience in a building/facilities maintenance role in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
This is a full-time, direct hire position with 1st shift hours. My work on call, including hours outside of regular schedule including weekends.

Requirements
- Applicants must be an exclusive US Citizen
- Applicants must be willing and able to apply for and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED), or higher levels of accredited education
- 3+ years of relevant experience in building/facility maintenance
- General mechanical/technical aptitude and good manual dexterity required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment autonomously and under pressure and complete all assigned tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and perform basic math calculations
- Ability to solve problems using existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks
- Can work well with others in a diverse group and foster a cooperative work environment
- Excellent physical condition and endurance
- Candidates will be required to pass a drug test
- Ability to wear half face respirator or PAPR
Responsibilities
- Support and facilitate the new Brightly preventive maintenance platform through its use to continually improve equipment reliability.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and work with the engineering staff when problems arise that are more complex.
- Single source of maintenance in the facility and will be the go-to individual for the upkeep and evaluation of the equipment.
- Able to complete inspections on general maintenance activities.
- More focused experience in electrical and PLC knowledge.
- Will be able to work and facilitate with outside maintenance services to address maintenance needs.
- Full understanding of plant infrastructure and perform the facility is OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies.
- Assist and or lead capex projects and work closely with the engineering group.
- Provide direction and manage critical spare parts.
- Generate solutions to maintenance issues, opportunities, and needs of the equipment, process, and facility.
