We are now hiring for a skilled MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to join our team!!!
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Must have maintenance training and experience.
- Machine repair
- Hydraulic repair
- Electrical repair
- Machine tools
- Welding
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- PLC's
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment
- Follow preventative maintenance programs
- Make repairs to equipment to maintain production schedules
- Work with department supervisors to minimize disruption to production schedules when repairing critical production machinery
- Follow appropriate ANSI, NEC codes; OSHA regulations, including safety requirements
- Work with outside contractors
- On call for after-hours maintenance issues
- Perform other duties as requested by management
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand and / or walk (being on your feet) for eight hours
- Good vision, correctable with glasses
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Other requirements may be necessary as the job dictates

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN PAY:
- Based on current skills and experience
- Starting wage determined during interview
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SCHEDULE:
- 1st shift
- 8-hour shift
- Overtime as needed
- On call for after hours and weekend maintenance.
- May be required to work during off-shifts as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
