Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living is committed to providing exceptional living experiences in our luxury apartment communities across the Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas. We are currently looking for a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team in Westlake Ohio.

As a Maintenance Technician at Banyan Living, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning and appearance of our properties. Your responsibilities will include performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, responding to resident requests, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of the property and perform necessary repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents.
• Complete tasks related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by performing thorough cleanings and necessary repairs.
• Assist in maintaining the grounds and exterior areas of the property.
• Maintain tools and inventory of supplies required for maintenance activities.
• Work in compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Availability for on-call duties as needed.
