At Banyan Living, we pride ourselves on providing a top-notch living experience for our residents. We are currently seeking friendly and experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our team.
As a Maintenance Technician at Banyan Living, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficient operation and upkeep of our property buildings and grounds. You will work under the supervision of the Property Manager.
Responsibilities may include:
- Performing repairs and maintenance tasks on a daily basis
- Maintaining the grounds and assisting the groundskeeper
- Preparing vacant units for occupancy
- Ensuring the proper operation of appliances, heating and cooling units, and light fixtures
- Keeping track of supplies and equipment inventory
- Reporting any issues or concerns related to the property or residents
- Adhering to OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Performing basic plumbing and electrical repairs
- Maintaining a professional appearance and a friendly attitude at all times

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems
